IBM Cognos Reports Performance tuning Scenarios

S No 1. Report is on production environment previously it was taking 5 seconds to execute, suddenly it increased to 10 minutes. What immediate action to be taken to resolve this issue ?

 Ans:  If it is slow before selecting the prompt then it is report side issue OR If it is taking after selecting the prompt then db side issue. 

•  "Execution Method" of the query objects in Cognos could be set to "concurrent", Concurrent query execution may improve performance in some cases.
